April's 10 Currents

Aprils 10 Currents...

What I've Watched....

Believe it or not since moving back to London I've barely watched much t.v at all, I've just been so busy doing stuff and going out places that by the time I get back home all I wanna do is go to sleep haha.Although I have been catching up on some of the soaps that I watch such as Eastenders, Neighbours and Home & Away of a night time whilst laying in bed, because I've made sure to put these on series record on the Sky+ box that's in my bedroom.
I've also managed to watch a couple of episodes of Gossip Girl on Netflix by connecting my iMac up to my television and watching it on the bigger screen, which reminds me... I need to make more time to watch Gossip Girl as I used to watch about 3 or 4 episode's every night before bed.

What I've Listened To....

The only thing I really listen to these days is whatever is being played on Capital FM radio and the music channels on Sky whilst I'm getting ready of a morning or when am in the car. I used to subscribe to Spotify Premium and had loads of different playlists on there, but I found myself not to be using it that much so I ended up cancelling my subscription and saving myself £9.99 each month instead of wasting it on something I hardly used.

What I've Read....

I've managed to keep up with one of my yearly goals of reading 1 book every month for 12 months and I must admit I am actually enjoying it. The latest book I read in the month of April was called "No! I Don't Need Reading Glasses", it was one of those books that I didn't really get into until the last few chapters which was a bit disappointing really.
My choice of book for the month of May will be James Corden's autobiography, and I will let you know what I think of this book in next months "10 Currents".

What I've Pictured....

So I've just had a good scroll through my photos on my iPhone and it seems that just lately most of the picture's that I've taken have been of my nephew Henry, and I may be biased here but he is bloody gorgeous! There's also a few snapchat face swaps ones aswell (snapchat name: clairejoanne86), aswell as a couple of photos to go with future blog posts.

What I've Brought....

This month I have mainly just been helping with buying stuff for the house, this has included tubs of paint, candles, bedding, accessories and I may have even sneaked in some more candles and flowers for my bedroom, oh and a few bits of stationery which include at least 4 notebooks and some papermate pens.

What I've Eaten....

I've really been trying to eat more healthily over the last few weeks, which to be fair ain't been that hard for me to do. I've been eating a lot more fruit...mainly oranges as they are a firm favourite of mine but they have to be the little oranges with no pips in, I don't like the big oranges lol!
I haven't cut out junk food completely though, as I personally think if you cut it out altogether you will just end up craving it more than you did before.

What I've Worn....

I'm a sucker for wearing clothes that are comfy everyday kinda wear, i swear I own way too many pairs of black leggings! I just find these go perfect with any kind of top and can be used to either dress up or dress down an outfit. I have also been loving wearing either my black ankle boots from Primark or my blue Adidas pumps from JD Sports.

What I've Played....

I am seriously addicted to the Gummy Drop game on my iPhone aswell as the Kendall & Kylie game. These are the only 2 games that I have on my phone and always help to pass the time when I'm bored or waiting to go somewhere.

What I've Done....

Since moving back to London I've been spending a lot more time with my family which has been nice to do, and also been doing a lot of decorating in the new house which you will see bits of in future blog posts to come.
I've also found a nice place to walk my dog Lana, it's a big grass field that leads up into the woods, which is also helping me to train Lana to be off the lead and to be around other dogs...as at the moment she constantly barks if she see's another dog (so embarrassing!). So until she is used to being around other dogs when I have her off the lead I always make sure she has her little muzzle on.

What I've Started....

I've finally started to use my Yankee Candles and get them burning and making the house smell nice, and anyone who knows me well will know that this is a big thing for me. I love Yankee Candles but never like to burn them as a few of them I think only come out at certain times of the year, and I know that once I have burned them I wont be able to get them again for a while! Plus the amount Yankee Candles cost, I can't be affording to keep buying them every 2 weeks.

*The photo used in this post, was in a set of free photo's I got from I think subscribing to someones blog a few months ago.....I can't remember who's blog it was, but if it's yours or you know who's blog then please let me know so I can credit them for it in this post :-)*
